Welcome to the LDCA!
I would like to thank our LDCA members, new and existing. Our industry is constantly changing and by collaborating together, we are able to obtain the highest goals. Thank you to the dedicated companies made up of General Contractors, Sub Contractors, Manufacturers, Suppliers, Architects, Engineers and Associate Service Firms.
To me, being a member means community. My membership offers me a network of knowledge to utilize within the industry, companionship with others who share my passion and values, and an outlet to grow my business. Being a member means that I participate, I’m engaging with other members regularly, and I have a voice in the industry that is heard by many. I am a Proud LDCA member, and it has been a great privilege to represent you as President of the Board of Directors and be part of a voice that has been advocating in the industry for over 115 years.
On April 23rd, 2015, it was with great pride that the LDCA had the privilege to honour and celebrate our members at our 2015 Project Excellence Awards. This evening is held every 3 years to recognize our members and honour their outstanding contributions to the community. Projects are nominated and then judged in four categories by professionals in the industry. Generals and Sub Contractors are both recognized by the LDCA for their hard work, dedication, diligence and collaboration.
We in the construction industry transform cities, towns, and municipalities. Be proud of all the buildings that you had something to do with. The creation of each and every building, street, and bridge throughout the seven counties that make up the LDCA wouldn’t be there without you. This is why we love this industry.
