Mental Health Matters

Building a Mentally Healthy
Construction Community

Poor mental health is a newly recognized and significant challenge for our industry. The complexities of construction — from high-pressure deadlines and long hours to job insecurity and a demanding culture — contribute to this silent crisis. This is more than a resource page; it is the first step in building a resilient, supportive, and mentally healthy future for everyone in the construction community.

Mental Health Requires a Different Approach Improving mental health is inherently complex. It requires a shift in culture, knowledge, and support. The LDCA is committed to this vital new dimension of safety — providing access to training and resources to better equip our leaders to make a lasting improvement in our workforce's mental well-being.
